Overfishing is a problem that affects many ecosystems around the world, it is caused when humans capture many more fish or sea creatures than we consume. I think overfishing is a very big problem that should stop one way or another.
Some ways we can stop this are:
Setting a limit of how much you can legally fish, this would make people stop fishing so much, and if they do anyway, there would be consequences like fines.
Prohibiting certain fishing methods, like trawl fishing wich is very damaging.
Only fishing in specific days or months so there is enough time for the fish to reproduce.
Building more fish farms, like this, the ecosystem can “regenerate”.
If we just try to stop, in any way, it would help the environment, because right now, in many countries, overfishing needs to stop, or else the extinction of many species may happen. We have to take care of our world, in any means necessary, not only for ourselves, but for future generations.
