Weekend Around Portugal – mhs

Tiempo de lectura:

1–2 minutos

Last weekend we went to some places in Portugal. On Saturday we visited a village called Campos Maior, where we saw a chapel made of human bones, it was weird but also cool; the village was nice.

After that we were going to go to a castle but we stopped in another village called Arronches to have lunch, we ordered a typical plate from Portugal called Bacalhau a bras, it was very good.

When we finished lunch, we went to the Marvão Castle in Marvão village. The castle was on top of a hill so we needed to walk up some stairs, which was tiring, but the views were amazing; the castle was also very beautiful. After that we went back home and waited for Sunday.

On Sunday we visited de fortifications of Elvas and Elvas Castle.

In the morning we saw the fortifications, the place was huge and like a maze, but you always found an way out.

From there you could see all Elvas, it was spectacular.

In the afternoon, we went to the castle, it was kind of small, but when you get up to the walls the view is incredible.

At the end of the day we went back home and we were very tired.
